The Simple Modern Water Filter is ideal for creating clean, safe drinking water while camping, hiking, hunting, traveling, and for use during storms and power outages when purified water is unavailable. And, by purifying water yourself, you can cut down on the purchases of bottled drinking water and decrease your single-use plastic consumption. Directions for use: Soak your filter in water for approximately one minute before the first use. This loosens the pleats and helps activate the filter paper. Cut 2.5 inches off the clear straw of your Summit or Ascent Water Bottle, and insert the filter’s tip into the bottom of the straw. Attach the top of the straw to the Water Bottle’s lid as normal, fill your bottle with water, twist on your lid, and drink your purified, safe drinking water!
