Get ready to live an extraordinary experience and to admire one of the most incredible scenarios imaginable: the Archaeological Park of Paestum from above and the sea of the beautiful Cilento coast.
On board a hot air balloon you will rise over the mythical Greek temples, with the opportunity to observe them in all their splendor. In the background, the blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the green coasts will frame. And if it will be a particularly clear day, you will also be able to see the island of Capri.
The balloon flight will be even more impressive thanks to the colors of sunrise or sunset, which will fill the sky with magnificent shades. A show not to be missed!
What we will do
We will meet near the archaeological area of Paestum (SA), at dawn or just before sunset. Based on the wind conditions, the pilot will decide whether to take off on the spot or to move to a more favorable point. We will carry out a briefing on safety instructions, we will wait for the balloon to be inflated and when the air inside it is sufficiently warm, we will fly up pushed by the wind.
The panorama that we will admire will be of indescribable beauty, with the Temples of Hera, Neptune and Athena that will be the masters. All around there will be the sea of Cilento and the hills along the coast that will make the scenery even more suggestive and unforgettable.
The flight will last from 40 to 60 minutes depending on the strength of the wind. The landing will take place in a flat spot several kilometers from the starting point, where we will be accompanied by the ground crew who will follow the balloon along the way.
We can enrich the experience with a toast on board or with a tasting of typical products upon arrival (optional and not included in the participation fee).
Who is it for?
This activity is of an easy level and is open to all those who are in good health and taller than 120 cm. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and for those with lower limb mobility problems.

The activity takes place "on demand" with groups of 4 people.
Times may be subject to slight variations based on the period and weather conditions. In case of rain and strong wind the flight will be canceled and in case of too high temperatures it will be possible to fly only in the morning. You will receive precise directions from the pilot a few days before the activity.
After booking, it is possible to request a toast on board and / or a tasting of typical products upon arrival (to be paid locally at a respective cost of € 30 and € 50 to be divided between the participants).

The first light of the morning will make the experience magical, giving the buildings and light rocks an even more dazzling brightness. It will be a real journey into a fairytale dimension suspended in time.
You will fly carried by the wind, its direction and its speed, not knowing exactly where the flight will end. Can you imagine a more fascinating experience? We have tried it, and we assure you that you will be amazed!
What we will do
Ballooning is an activity closely linked to the weather and wind conditions, so it is not possible to establish with certainty the exact point from which you will take off. But don't worry, the pilot will give you the exact address of the meeting place the day before the flight, after consulting the weather report. You will follow the crew from the earliest stages of preparation of the balloon, you will see the blaze that will heat the air inside the balloon and, when it is warm enough, the wicker basket will lift off the ground to put itself in the hands of the wind.
That's right, the wind currents will decide our itinerary. Certainly we will fly over Matera and its Sassi, the ancient inhabited centers made up of rock architectures and become famous on the occasion of the appointment of the city as European Capital of Culture in 2019, but already a long time ago UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will see the shadow of the balloon stand out on the walls of the houses, and if the day is sunny, the Sassi of Matera will be colored with an enchanting golden hue.
Then we will begin to descend until the balloon touches the ground on flat ground. Upon landing we will find the crew who will welcome us with an aperitif based on exquisite local products and will give us the flight certificate, before taking us back by car to the meeting point. The activity has a total duration of 3 hours, of which 1 hour of actual flight.
Who is it for?
This activity is easy and suitable for everyone, from 8 years upwards (at least 130 cm tall). To fly in a hot air balloon, you just need to be in good health. The only limitations are for pregnant women, for those suffering from serious diseases incompatible with flying and for those with mobility problems in the lower limbs. If you are in any doubt about your fitness to fly, talk to your doctor.

Important: this activity can be booked all year round, but will be confirmed upon reaching at least 5 participants and only if the weather conditions are compatible with the maximum safety of the participants.
